• FREE delivery of grocery shopping just for mums. This service is an additional service for our customers. Because I am a Mum too. I know what all confinement mums need whenever you need some grocery urgently but no one can help you to buy.

CHINESE INGREDIENTS USED IN THE CONFINEMENT FOOD:

• Black Vinegar –  For its therapeutic ability,  it purifies the blood and cleanses the arteries. Usually used for recipes like Pork Leg Vinegar.
•  Old Ginger – This dispels the “wind” in the body. This wind was acquired by the mother after birth and if not eradicated from the body, it may lead to ailments like aches and pains or rheumatism.
• Sesame Oil – It is used for its “heaty” or warm nature. As new mothers are believed to have “wind” in their bodies, sesame seeds’ heat is good for suppressing the “wind.”
• Red Dates – It is brewed with dried longan to nourish the blood and to act as water substitute because water is believed to contain “wind”.
• Chinese Wolfberry – This promotes good eyesight. It is high in antioxidant that delays ageing while improving strength and boosting energy. Usually used in Soups.
• Black Beans – Rich in fibre and folate and boosts blood circulation.
